4 p.m. - (1) Oklahoma Baptist vs. (2) Oklahoma City, Final Box
Oklahoma City shook off a defensive-minded first half to shoot 50 percent in the second half and take its third straight Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament championship over Oklahoma Baptist 62-55 Saturday in Bethany.
The Stars trailed 28-22 at the half and fell behind 30-22 in the first minute of the second half before rolling off a 10-0 run to take a 32-30 lead. The Stars led by as many as nine points in the second half.
Tournament MVP Donica Cosby scored 18 points to lead the Stars while Starr Fairbanks added 17 and Holly Hardin 10.
Gabi Mattox and Taujhnae Travis had 14 each for the Lady Bison, with Samantha Smith adding 13.
Both OCU (29-3) and OBU (30-3) will advance to the NAIA National Tournament in Jackson, Tenn., with automatic berths.
