Southern Nazarene teammates Kaci Crawford and Katie Hale are Sooner
Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week,
respectively, for March 1-7.
Crawford, a sophomore pitcher from Paris, Texas, was 4-0 on the week with a 1.35 earned run average. She had 15 strikeouts in 26 innings of work, highlighted by a two-hit shutout of Williams Baptist.
Hale, a junior first baseman from Baytown, Texas, led SNU to a 7-0 week with a .600 (15-25) batting average and a 1.240 slugging percentage. She had seven runs, four doubles, four home runs and 18 RBI. Her breakout game of the week was a two-homer, eight-RBI game against Bacone.
