OBU's Cordell Baker
Oklahoma Christian's Irene Masai and Oklahoma Baptist's Cordell Baker are Sooner Athletic Conference Runners of the Week for Oct. 4-10.
Masai, a senior from Eldoret, Kenya, was the first SAC women's runner to finish the five-kilometer Bison Invitational. She finished the 91-runner race in 19:33.
Baker, a freshman from Sapulpa, Okla., was the first NAIA finisher, taking second out of 102 runners in the Bison Invitational men's race. He finished the eight kilometer course in 24:51.
