She is an extremely hard worker in everything she does and is always in a good mood. She leads by example. We will miss her leadership and example of giving it everything you've got."
A senior exercise science major with a 3.97 GPA, Roberts has led the No. 7-ranked Chaparrals to a 22-4 record and a 19-1 SAC mark. A native of Canyon, Texas, she is the fourth-leading scorer for the Chaparrals with a 12.3 average.

"It's a unique honor for a unique individual," LCU coach Steve Gomez said. "She is such an honorable person and an individual that is great as a player and as an individual. From her leadership skills to shooting free throws to her academics, she resembles the complete person and this honor recognizes her for that."
The other three College Division first-team members were Jennifer Jorgensen of Grand View (Iowa), Kelly Ellison of Shorter (Ga.) and Marissa Young of Saint Xavier (Ill.). The five first-teamers have an average GPA of 3.986.

While she has had much success on the floor, she will have just as much success after college because the effort she gives on a daily basis."
