Oklahoma City first-baseman Miguel Beltran is Sooner
Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Year, the SAC coaches revealed

Beltran, a senior first baseman from Long Beach, Calif., led the SAC in slugging at .849 and home runs with 24. He also was second with 67 RBI and batted .397.
Coach of the Year honors go to Chris Pingry of St. Gregory's who guided the Cavaliers to the SAC Tournament one year after going 5-25 in the SAC.
The first-team catchers are Chad Carman of Oklahoma City and Mitch Prophet of Oklahoma Baptist.
The infielders are Beltran, Lubbock Christian second baseman Richard Bohlken, USAO third-baseman Heath Wilda, OCU shortstop Chris Munoz and OBU first baseman Daniel Baptista, who was chosen as the utility player.
The first-team outfielders are Dane Phillips of OCU, Jared Coon of USAO, Eric Baker of Rogers State and Jarad Moore of Northwestern.
Karl Seiter of LCU is the designated hitter.
The starting pitchers on the first team are Chad Hardison of OBU, Rich Hawkins of OCU, Tyler Rogers of LCU and Shawn Spainhoward of RSU.
OBU's Jesus Carlos is the first-team relief pitcher.
The second-team includes catchers Jason Fisch of LCU and Lance Rymel of RSU, first baseman Zach Gonzalez of USAO, second baseman Hector Rivera of RSU, third baseman Camilo Baldelomar of Northwestern, shortstop Yael Colon of OBU, utility Luis Martinez of Mid-America Christian, outfielders Colton Campbell of RSU, James Tunnell of Southern Nazarene, Dillon Usiak of OBU and Kale Gaden of OCU, designated hitter John Basnight of SNU, starting pitchers Brandon Bargas of RSU, Kyle Duncan of RSU, Steven Messner of OBU and Blake Schwartz of OCU, and reliever Patrick Goelz of OCU.
The Rawlings SAC Gold Glove team is Carman at catcher, Beltran at first, OCU's Brian Fisher at second, OBU's Michael Cerda at third, LCU's Ryan Burnaman at short, RSU's Colton Campbell in left, RSU's Eric Baker in center, MACU's Justin Rivera in right and Hardison at pitcher.
