OCU's Lily LaVelle was named Pitcher of the Year and Phil McSpadden is Coach of the Year. Lubbock Christian has the Player of the Year in Kim Frazier and the Newcomer of the Year in Sarah Mendez. Freshman of the Year honors belong to Southern Nazarene's Jill Clemence.
LaVelle, a senior from Bridge Creek, Okla., has a league-best 0.96 earned run average and 443 strikeouts.
Frazier, a senior from Buena Park, Calif., batted a league-best .503 on the season with a league-leading 73 RBI. Mendez, a junior pitcher from Fort Worth, Texas, was 18-1 with a 1.21 earned run average.
Clemence, from Washington, Okla., batted .429 with a school-record 90 hits.
McSpadden guided the Stars to the SAC Tournament title.
The First-Team pitchers are LaVelle, Mendez and St. Gregory's University's Devon Frazier. The catchers are Kylee Rounsaville of Oklahoma City and Amy Madden of Southern Nazarene.
The First-Team infielders are Davee Croy of Oklahoma Christian, Frazier, Oklahoma City's LeeAnn Lopez, Tori Joyner and Magean De La Torre, Lubbock Christian's McKenzie Clemmons, Katie Turner of Southern Nazarene and Kristin Wehmeyer and Caitlyn O'Hagan of SGU.
The outfielders are Andrea Argee and Brittany Kent of LCU, Clemence, and SGU's Emily Ledinski.
The Second-Team consists of Alison Conyers and Blair Ward of SGU, Monique Zevada of Northwestern, Nesha Sorrell and Taylor Smith of USAO, Kristian Forrest and Kaci Crawford of SNU, Ashley Fauchier, Laura Fleck and Shona Guerrero of Rogers State, Ashley Clifton and Alison Tunnell of Oklahoma Baptist, Kayla Jennings, Courtney Starr, Ashley Paxton and Kendra Pierce of OC, Latianna Eltsosie, Amanda Longorio, Stephanie Rendon of LCU and Ashley Dodson of Mid-America Christian.
