Wayland Baptist's Edward Taragon is Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 10-16.

Taragon, a junior from Eldoret, Kenya, covered the eight kilometer course at the Texas Tech Open in 25 minutes flat. He was third overall in the race.
