Johnson City, Tenn---The women's indoor track and field team from Wayland Baptist won its second straight NAIA Indoor Title, edging out Azusa Pacific University, 68-67, on Saturday at the campus of East Tennessee State University. The relay picked up the needed eight points and the national crown. This year, WBU had to watch from the sidelines and hope Azusa would finish no better than fourth in the relay event. Oklahoma Baptist took the relay victory, and APU placed fourth, giving Wayland its second straight one point victory over the school from Southern California.
