OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Sept. 30, 2009) - The Oklahoma Christian men's cross country team made the NAIA coaches' top 25 national poll for the third week in a row on Wednesday. OC received the No. 4 ranking after being No. 23 just two weeks ago.
The Eagles' cross country program has continued to be recognized as a predominant team in the NAIA. The Oklahoma Christian men's team launched from a No. 23 ranking to No. 5 in last week's poll. This week the Eagles moved up one more spot to No. 4 after receiving 513 votes.
The Eagles will get their chance to fortify their national position this Saturday, Oct. 3 at OSU's Cowboy Jamboree. The event will include numerous NCAA division I and II competition along with top NAIA schools. The Lady Eagles will race at 8:00 a.m. followed by the men's race at 8:35 a.m.
