SNU's Kristen Rosenau Wins the Individual Title

Oklahoma Baptist covered the cross country course at Lubbock Christian University with a team time of 1:37.49 to claim the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country title Friday.
OBU finished with 46 points to hold off Oklahoma Christian with 61 and Lubbock Christian with 71. Wayland Baptist was fourth with 84, followed by Southern Nazarene at 128, Oklahoma City at 180, Northwestern Oklahoma State at 181 and Mid-America Christian at 182.
The Lady Bison, earning a trip to the national meet Nov. 21 in Vancouver, Wash., were led by Natalie Pedersen in fourth place at 19:07.36 with Kayla Lee in ninth, Jessica Herbert in 10th, Meredith Gardner in 11th and Danielle Cummins in 12th.
Southern Nazarene's Kristen Rosenau won the race in 18:53.02, 10 seconds ahead of Wayland Baptist's Catherine Luebner. Rosenau, Luebner, Nicole Lair of Oklahoma Christian, Milca Villegas of Wayland Baptist and Melyssa Cardenas of Oklahoma Christian all qualified as individual runners for the national meet.
Those five and all five OBU scorers earned All-Conference honors, along with Brittani Sigle, Melissa Zepeda and Valerie Calderon of Lubbock Christian, Diana Gutierrez of Wayland Baptist and Irene Masai of Oklahoma Christian.
