OCU's Starr Fairbanks
Starr Fairbanks, a center at Oklahoma City University, has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 11-17.
Fairbanks, a 6-2 junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 17 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 60 percent in two OCU victories. She had 17 points in each of the wins at No. 18 Oklahoma Christian and at Northwestern Oklahoma State. She also had an assist and a blocked shot.
