Leticia Silva, a 5-7 freshman from St. Gregory's, has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Jan. 25-31.
Silva, a guard from Whitesboro, Texas, scored 32 points and had five rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in an 89-84 win against Northwestern Oklahoma State. She shot 57 percent from the field and scored on 13 of 14 free throw attempts.
