Gonzalez, Williams, Parker and Garner
Four players earned Sooner Athletic Conference baseball honors for Feb. 8-14, marking the most in the league's history.
Chris Williams of Northwestern Oklahoma State is the SAC Player of the Week, while three pitchers - Tyler Garner of Rogers State, Paul Gonzalez of Lubbock Christian and Garrett Parker of Oklahoma City share Pitcher of the Week honors.
Williams, a senior right fielder from Vidalia, La., batted .571 with a 1.857 slugging percentage. He had three home runs, 10 RBI and five runs in two wins over Mount Marty College. He also scored five runs.
Garner, a sophomore from Poteau, Okla., tossed five innings of one-hit baseball in defeating Benedictine. He had three strikeouts and allowed no runs.
Gonzalez, a junior from Fort Worth, tossed 5.1 innings of three-hit, shutout baseball against No. 12 Lindendwood, recording three strikeouts.
Parker, a senior from Duncanville, Texas, tossed four innings of one-hit ball with six strikeouts in a win at Oklahoma Wesleyan.
