KANSAS CITY - Oklahoma Baptist overcame one of the best individual performances of the NAIA Tournament to advance to the second round with an 85-75 overtime win over unseeded Texas Wesleyan Friday.
Texas Wesleyan's Jamel White,a transfer from Sooner Athletic Conference rival Oklahoma City, scored 40 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

JACKSON, Tenn. - Oklahoma City University crushed Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) 87-59 on Friday at Oman Arena to move into the NAIA Divison I women's basketball quarterfinals.
Starr Fairbanks, a junior from Cincinnati, spearheaded OCU with a career-high 25 points to go with seven rebounds. The top-seeded Stars picked up their 25th consecutive victory, improving to 31-3. Sixth-ranked OCU meets Campbellsville (Ky.) at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oman Arena.
